Ever since i updated my windows 7 to windows 10, i am unable to use any of mobile's Wifi-hotspot to use internet on my laptop which i used to do earlier hassle-free.
Now whenever i try to connect my laptop to a wifi-hotspot of any of my mobile phones the laptop seems to connect with it and also shows 'Internet Access' sometimes (or Limited Access most of the times) but when i try to open any of the websites it doesn't open.
How do i connect my laptop (Win10) to a portable WiFi-Hotspot?
When I pair laptop and Bluetooth headphones Urbanears Plattan ADV , my WiFi connection is lost I have visible network in notification area but I can't connect : msg - "Can't connect to this network". I solve problem with restarting router but that's not good.
Windows10 , HP Pavillion notebook
I am unable to connect to any WiFi connection. I've tried many adapters, different USB ports (2.0/3.0). I've even tried using the WPS button on my adapter and router. After entering my WEP key, it gets stuck on Verifying and Connecting.
I am currently using my laptop's Wifi, through a LAN shared connection. I am also able to use a Tether from my phone's WiFi connection.
I feel that something went wrong during the installation, as I had to make two attempts, and after many hours of finally getting it to work, many applications are laggy/unresponsive. I am, for example, currently unable to open up the App Store or Settings - they open for about 10-20 seconds and then close. I have a fairly high-end system spec, so that is not the problem. Forgot to mention, I have the most recent Intel LAN drivers from my motherboard's website.
I am having this problem from the day I had windows 10 in my pc. I tried the methods that were given in the official Microsoft website, also tried to check the time and the region(if it were happen to be different), but nothing worked out.. I really want the windows store for my pc..
The error code that the store shows everytime is 0x80072EE7,
I am wondering about this situation which seems to have occurred with Win 10
The internet connection using Internet Explorer seems to take for ever to make it trough to the server, using Comcast Xfinity
latest speed check : Ping 18ms, Download 21Mbps, Upload 12Mbps
The internet connection using the Win 10 " e " from the task bar seems to make it through without any problems
Comcast claims there is nothing amiss with their Xfinity setup.
Everytime when i go to the store, it showing me this:
I already installed windows 10 yesterday. I doesn't installed any apps on store before showing me this error.
I have just updated Windows 10 (final release), store always keeps crashing...

I try to enter the Windows 10 Store and all I get is a message that the server stumbled. What does that mean and how does it get fixed?
View 1 RepliesI logged onto my laptop as usual this morning and opened up Firefox. However, on trying to open a website it responds as of I'm not connected. My WiFi says 'no Internet, secured'. I tried the mac and it has the same connection issues, but for some reason I can use the WiFi on my phone alright?
View 3 RepliesI have Windows 10 on my laptop, upgraded from Windows 7 straight away it came out so it's been a while. Everything has been fine up to now. On Sunday it just crashed on log in, gave a critical service error with a blue screen and restarted, then it didn't go past the start up logo, it went on a loop, laptop went idle. Boom, bsod again. Restart. Then it gave me an Insert boot device or select boot device and enter a key or whatever it says. Restart. Bsod. Finally got on to the start up repair. Couldn't fix it. Reinstalled the whole system with leaving my data intact.
I started getting WiFi connectivity issues. The little light next to the power buttons was not on. Windows 10 did recognise and connect to WiFi but all my browsers were crashing. Also I had issues with my touchpad. Now I'm back to bsods. This time I do sometimes get onto my desktop but everything just freezes after a few seconds. I've gotten a variety of errors. The first one was Dsp(?) Watchdog bsod, then a system thread exception not handled bsod, a critical service failure bsod if I'm not mistaken and now back to the critical process died bsod. Sometimes it asks for the boot device. It's random. I've always taken good care of drivers, disk checks, viruses, everything, so I'm slightly heartbroken. My guess is it's a driver-hardware-system driver incompatibility + the updates and Windows 10 thinking all components are up to date, but we all know how that goes.
It is an ASUS X5MS series laptop, 8 GB RAM, i7 Intel core, GeForce GT 630M. Never had any issues with it apart from it freezing after standby when on Windows 7. Got around it by changing what the power buttons do etc. I've had it for 3.5 years and has been nice and speedy.
I'd really like to see what the store has to offer but, I can't access it at all. It just gives me the "server stumbled" and the error code.
I also can't use my micorsoft account at all. Any pre-installed app that you can link an account to fails. I'm really at a loss.
I looked up some of the error codes and found plenty of companies willing to let you pay to "fix" the error.
I'm connected to the WiFi, but I can't access the internet. I was trying to fix my rocket league connection so I followed this tutorial to reset the internet options of internet explorer and then to restore the options. I restarted my pc and now I can connect to my WiFi but none of my browsers or applications can access the internet.
View 3 RepliesWhy isn't my Windows 10 store working properly anymore? There are 10 apps that need to be upgraded but they're stuck at 0.0 MB even though I'm connected to Wi-Fi. What should I do?
View 7 RepliesI have a "Wi-Fi not connected" message in Control Panel Network and Internet > connections. The computer is a Windows 10 HP envy 700 - 414. The Wi-Fi is Broadcom 802.11. the driver is 7.35.336.0 12/7/2015 .... How do I connect it?
View 3 RepliesI had windows 8.1 and had viber installed. Then i upgraded to windows 10. still viber worked. I had to delete viber app and after reinstalling it, it doesn't work. It says "No connection to activate viber account". But I'm Connected to WIFI and it works with other apps. Is this due to compatible issues or something wrong with the app?
View 1 RepliesI have my laptop at work and have had no trouble connecting the company WiFi (they have Guest WiFi and a WiFi where you need to enter your company provided Username and Password). I have been connecting using my Username and password. Today I had to change my company login password. Now when I try to connect my laptop I get a "can't connect" message because the password saved in my laptop is no longer valid. But I can't find a place in Win10 to enter my new password.
I remember the first time I logged onto the company WiFi a Windows popup came up asking for my Username and Password (which was saved so I didn't need to enter it again - until now). This time not getting the popup - it just says "can't connect".
Running Windows 10 on a Dell Latitutde I was trying to setup a Netgear Wifi Extender because the Fios Router does not reach all the way to the other side of the house. I did the setup (so I thought) the way the manual told me and my computer was trying to connect to the extender, but it just stayed in "Connecting..." For a long long time. Eventually I gave up and thought I'd hit the reset button on the extender and try again.
Now my wifi adapter finds NO networks. All my other devices see all the networks.
The only other time this has ever happened I had accidentally hit the network adapter switch on the side of the PC, so I'm 100% sure that's not the problem and that it is 'on' in the settings. I've tried restarting the pc several times as well as toggling the adapter on/off, airplane mode on/off, and the switch on the PC on/off.. And it still sees no networks..
I have just replaced my WiFi card from (BCM943228HMB) to BCM94352HMB. Before replacing my WiFi card i done the following:
Made computer boot in safe mode with networking.
After that i replaced the card, then booted into windows 10 (safe mode with networking) and checked device manager. Everything was OK (See attached picture). I then tried to turn on WiFi, but it does not turn on.
I have a desktop PC running Win7 64Bit Ent. It's not actually in use, so nothing is connected. I also have a laptop running Win10 64Bit which I'm using to type this post. I have some audio files on my desktop that I'd like to pull off of there, and put them on my laptop, and then maybe on a cloud. My 1st question: Is it possible to simply use a USB cable between 2 USB 3 ports if I simply power up the desktop with the USB cable connected? Does the USB protocol provide for me to see those HDD's on the desktop via the laptop? I'm quite limited for physical space, and I don't need the desktop to be running permanently, I just need to get these files off of it. If that's NOT a solution, what is the next easiest method?
View 6 Repliesi just updated to Windows 10 and now my firefox, utorrent, filezilla and a few other programs have stopped working because of some port issue.
firefox does nothing.
utorrent says "Listen error".
filezilla says
Status: Connecting to 65.99.237.52:21...Status: Connection attempt failed with "10107".
Error: Could not connect to server
another program i use says "No interent connection or firewall is blocking MM Agent".
i tried to add these programs and port numbers to windows firewall settings but that didnt do anything. then i tried to disablethe windows defender and firewall using "services.msc" but still nothing.
i have also tried by disabling my antivirus(bitdefender)

I've bought a Huawei E3372h modem (with GTmobile simcard) but it doesn't connect. The modem says 'connected' and does recieve/sent KB's but on the window toolbar network logo says 'no internet connection' (yellow triangle mark).

My laptop makes an annoying beeping noise when plugging in the charger or removing it. In Windows 7/8, if you went to your speaker properties and then levels, you could mute PC speaker and that took care of it. Don't see that option anymore.
View 9 RepliesI updated my sys to windows 10 one month ago. I had a smooth experience on network accessing but now my system internal apps are not connecting to internet(like windows store, Maps, sports, Food & drink etc). But I can able to browse using browsers(browsers are connecting to internet).
Connection - Wired Connection Not limited.
I checked DNS settings too but no solution.
