My friends have problem after she upgrading to windows 10 from windows 8.1. Driver still enable but every time connect using wifi always have limited access and can't connect internet. She is also have try other wifi connection and all have limited access. There is also system batch error before, but now doesn't show again.

View 19 RepliesI've installed windows 10, but I've got a strange problem. My WiFi connection randomly gets limited for one second. It isn't so bad, when I'm browsing, but if I wanna download something... that's terrible :S 'cause when the wifi stops, the download stops too... What can I do? I think it's not my laptops problem, because before win10 - on windows 8.1 - it worked fine. If it matters something, it gets limited in about every 5 or 10 minutes.

Connection to Internet through Wi-Fi is not happening after that though it is happening via LAN Cable.
Whenever I try to connect through Wi-Fi it gets stuck showing Limited Connectivity and No Internet Access.
I went through some threads and found that it can be solved by disabling "Block Internet Connection Sharing" setting in Bit Defender but I am not using Bit Defender.
I am using Windows Defender instead and am not able to find such setting in that.
I've just updated to 10 after getting my computer back up after moving, and for the most part have really been liking it. Here are a couple of the more annoying issues I've been having:
1) Every time I restart/shut down/reboot my computer, upon logging into windows my Wi-Fi has 'limited' connectivity to my router. I use a belkin USB wi-fi adapter, and have been for years with no issues like this. Windows 10 is the only new guy to the party. The only way I'm able to get it to work is to click disconnect, wait a few seconds, then click connect.
2) I can only run my Outlook 10 as administrator, which you can't do from icons on the task bar, and which also blocks some functionality within the program. When I try to run it w/out administrator it says I don't have permission to access one of my email addresses' .pst folder (yahoo). No error when I run as administrator, though.
My Internet through ethernet and wifi were both working fine yesterday and now nothing..
I've tried troubleshooting, Driver installs, ip config, firewall settings, and spent hours reading forums but just can't sort it.

I am experiencing Problem with the wifi connectivity after I updated my Dell Inspiron 15 3521. I updated the Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz) to the latest and tried every steps I could find in the blogs, youtube and communities talk but still couldn't fix the problem.
View 9 RepliesI am using a D-Link DWA-160 Xtreme Dual Band USB Adapter into a NetGear Router. I have three Win 10 machines connected two of which are just fine. The third is displaying "Limited Access". After doing all the normal substitution things without effect I did a System Restore. I was immediately able to connect for about five minutes and then got "Limited Access" again. I undid the the System Restore and got the same result. Connected as soon as the roll back was completed but then went back to Limited Access.

I need to disconnect and connect and it works for 30-45 minutes, and then again go to limited. I have windows 7 before, and there i don't have this problem, but when i tried windows 8(half year ago) i have same issue.

I think it's maybe problem with my network adapter driver( Broadcom 4313GN 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter ), because i think it's old. It is from 15/08/2012. Version: 6.30.59.49
I have a laptop with Windows 10, and it has been working fine for months. Yesterday I thought I had a connection issue with the Internet, and set the computer aside until it was resolved. Later I checked my phone, and saw that the WiFi is actually working just fine. I have restarted and reset and tried to connect to Hotspots and all sorts of netsh commands.

I have tried the TCIP reset suggested in another forum I read however this has not resolved the issue. What I can do as this is my home office computer.
View 1 RepliesSo i was accessing the internet fine on my computer no more than an hour ago on the same network im on my laptop now with and then i restarted my computer and it give me limited access and i cannot connect to the internet. I reinstalled my wifi card driver and that didn't work. The Network and Internet troubleshooter said it was the driver and could not fix the problem itself.
My wifi card is a TP-LINK TL-WDN4800.
I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10. Since then, I can not connect to Internet at all. The cable says no Internet when connected and wifi says limited access when connected. I am posting this through my phone because my laptop keeps saying limited access.
View 12 RepliesSo I have my computer connected to my laptop via Ethernet cable this is how I get Internet access to my pc usually it shows my network name and that I am connected to the Internet. just this morning I upgraded my pc from 8.1 to 10 and ever since my network says unidentified and limited access I updated and installed all the drivers for my motherboard including lan I also tried manually putting tcp/ip and it still did not solve my problem so I switched it back to automatic but no luck .
View 1 RepliesToday, when i opened my PC i found out that i have "No internet connection". The last time i used it was last night, and it worked like a charm. The problem is from the software itself I guess because other devices seem to be working fine connected to the internet. This also happened to me while using windows 8.1 but I got it fixed everytime with a simple "netsh" command. Now things aren't this simple, i tried multiple fixes and none of them worked. I tried to update the driver from the device manager but i can't find the microsoft and the producer driver, instead i find some outdated drives from like 2013.

I am on a college campus and having a computer with no internet is like a truck driver without a truck. I am able to connect to the Internet at random times for a few moments before it shows up with limited acces symbol on my wifi icon in the bottom right hand corner. My internet works fine when it is plugged in through an Ethernet cable but that is very inconvenient.

View 4 RepliesEvery so often Windows 10 will give a notification about Limited Network Access on a wired Ethernet connection. The notification is not true as I am able to use non-Microsoft applications such as Firefox just fine with the Internet. However Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Windows Updates, Edge and IE do not detect an Internet connection and are unusable. I found that if I turn off real-time protection in Windows Defender and then reboot the computer it clears the error for a time but it always comes back within a day or two.
View 2 RepliesAfter upgrading to Windows 10 I no longer have any WiFi capabilities. My laptop is HP Pavilion Intel Core i3 which I purchased in November 2014. In Windows - Settings - Network & Internet I do not have a WiFi option listed. However, when I go into Control Panel - Network and Internet - Network Connections I see my wireless service is listed and media state is 'enabled' but states IPv4 & IPv6 are 'not connected'. It is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. The MAC Address is 30-3A-64-13-2B-80. When I diagnose this connection I get the following message:
There might be a problem with the driver for the Wireless Network Connection adapter.
Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter.
When trying to access photos, I can't after upgrading to windows 10. How do I access my pictures?
View 1 RepliesI have a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3, it was upgraded from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 10 early august. Working find everything until updating to version 1511 in november, after rebooting with the new version the WiFi appears disconnected, it only shows airplane mode and I can only connect to internet by cable. I have tried changing drivers, disconnecting and reconnecting wireless, even going back to former Windows 10 version, etc. but no way. WiFi appears with a red cross!. Why WiFi worked so fine in the former version and why it´s disconnected in the new version?.
View 14 RepliesMy DVD drive worked fine in Win7, and still works fine if I boot from it, but since upgrading to Win10 I can't access any disk in it. File Explorer "sees" my G drive, but when I want to look at a disk it tells me to insert a disk. Device manager told me that my drive was a virtual clone drive, so I removed it and deleted the driver, and now I don't see any optical drives. I can't find the model number of the LG drive, so I can't download a suitable driver.
View 6 RepliesI recently updated my pc to windows 10 and ever since I can't access BIOS because I have no chance to (?) I try pressing F2 and DEL multiple time when starting up but it goes straight to the Windows start up. On Win7 it showed a screen which had some information on it and said "Press F2 to enter BIOS" or something like that and only then it would go to the Windows start up.Maybe I need to re-install BIOS?
