View 1 RepliesI upgraded to windows 10 from 8.1 through Microsoft's updater. I used Windows 10 for web browsing and then after my use, I shut the computer down. After my first reboot, OS crashed several times and sent me to the recovery page.
Steps I took:
1. Reset system (keep files)
-> Failed
2. Restore
-> Failed
System reboots with a black screen and a mouse pointer. Few minutes later, I see a blue screen with a circular loading animation icon. I gave it few hours before force shutdown (I also left the system running overnight. No progress). Every single recovery option did not work, and I could not find any solutions online.
What I do have:
Linux Mint (as dual boot).
Can access Windows 10 drive from Mint.
It seems like the only solution I see is to clean install Windows 10 after backing up my files.
My laptop was being weird at work one day so I rebooted. I had windows ten for probably two weeks. when it went to boot agian it got stuck on the windows boot animation. My bios options were limited and the only thing i could do was revert to windows seven through some windows ten recovery menu. Once i got back to windows 7 it still didnt boot. I re installed windows seven and then tried to go back to windows ten. Once i got to windows ten it tried to boot but failed. I rebooted it a couple times to see what would happen and it reveerted back to windows seven automatically. Now windows seven won't boot either.
View 1 RepliesI tried to upgrade my Windows 7 laptop to Windows 10 but after it restarted, it got stuck on the loading screen.
Windows 10 (x86 build 10130)
Laptop starts up and I wait for some time but it's still gets stuck and the loading icon appears and then I have to press the button to switch it otherwise it take ages to start.
View 1 RepliesI am running Windows 10 1511 10836, having upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 back in August 2015. This morning when I turned on my Lenovo B575 laptop, after the first Windows screen with animated circling dots at the bottom, when it refreshed the screen and went to the 2nd Windows screen, I noticed that the animation with the circling dots was slow. After several minutes, the computer was still on this screen. After 15 minutes and no change, I restarted the computer.
Upon 2nd startup I got the same results. On 3rd startup I got the Please Wait screen and then eventually got to the Startup and Repair screen. After diagnosing found nothing, I then went to the System Restore page and found that a Windows Update had installed yesterday afternoon. I restored to the Restore Point created yesterday, and restarted.
(Last Thursday I had to force the upgrade to the 1511 10836 update by downloading the 3.5Gb file because Windows Update kept failing. I have had no problems since then.)
No change. I can get to Safe Mode after 2 failed attempts, but without knowing what to check or look for, this does me little good. Of course can I reset/reinstall Windows 10 but would rather not if I don't have to.
I was resetting(wiping all my personal files) my windows 10 pc last night and it was stuck on 2% so i left it over night and in the morning it was the same so i decided to turn it off and on and when I turned it on it gave me the option to run windows 10 so i clicked it and my pc started turning on and then the starting screen comes up saying Lenovo and it just stays like that.

View 1 RepliesI installed Windows 10 on my HP 15044NR laptop (2013) model that came originally with Windows 8.1. I get the image at the bottom of the screen whenever it has to be restarted. I have a 32 bit PC. I can only use it if I reinstall Windows 10.
View 14 Repliesit was time to format and clean install Windows 10 on my PC.
After I deleted my SSD in partition manager (in the windows 10 installation process) and create all new partition for my new install, I installed my windows 10 x64 Home edition and when everything is installed and computer automaticly restarts it won't go further than loading screen... I was waiting for 20+ minutes and nothing (i have good enought pc that I should not wait that much..)
I tried 2-3 clean installes after that and nothing changed (process of installation is normal but when it comes to loading screen after automatic restart - it s(t)ucks..)
When I try to make automatic repair or something like that it says somethink like this partition is locked and it can be done ..
This happens only in file explorer. If i press right click, no matter if on a specific file/folder or just on the blank space, it will stuck on the round circle load. And it will never show up the menu, the only way to end it is to force close the explorer. Instead, if I do the same on the desktop, for example, it works perfectly.
View 1 RepliesI upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 and then I realized that all my files stayed which I didn't want all my files so I did a factory reset on my windows 10 upgraded PC and it has been stuck at 61% for about 8-9 hours. The circle loading is still moving but the percentage is stuck at 61. I am worried to turn off my PC in case of it being ruined.

I upgraded to Win 10 on Friday, and since, despite several resetting PC attempts, Win 10 will not load to the login screen. Instead, it is stuck on a loop flashing between the lock screen and a gray loading screen quickly back to the lock screen -- instead of loading to the login screen. This only happens when I attempt to restart or update my PC. If I go to the lock screen because I locked my PC or it fell asleep, I can unlock it. I have also attempted to reset my PC to the previous build, to no avail. I have no restore points.
View 1 RepliesEvery time I switch on my PC I get to the loading Windows screen and then my PC reboots, it only does this once and on second boot it boots into Windows fine, even tried a fresh install on Windows and it's still the same, can't see anything in the event log only this.
The last shutdown's success status was false. The last boot's success status was false. All drives are up to date, PC running fine with no issues apart from the above, I don't use sleep or hibernate and power to the PC is switched off from the mains.
I'm currently using Windows 10. I'm upgrading it from windows 8.1 Single Language. I make clean installation. So yesterday my Windows running weirdly. For example my, if I click "This PC", when it open, the explorer keep loading. I'm waiting like 1 hour but still nothing changes. There is no driver partition can be seen. I'm already scan with anti virus and anti malware with up to date database but still the problem keep happen. More frustration is I can't open control panel. BTW I'm already trying to restart the windows explorer in Task Manager but still it does not change. Plus if I insert any pendrives or external hard disk, the folder still can't be opened, it just keep loading.
View 1 RepliesRecently I've installed Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 17. It had had a preinstalled Ubuntu. When installing Windows, I deleted the Ubuntu partition, leaving only the one for system recovery and the one called DIAGS, I think.
Now everytime the system is loading, for a split second I get the Windows Boot Menu screen that's cut from the top. See : [URL] ....
After that, the system loads just fine. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Ever since I installed Windows 10, Google Chrome usually makes my mouse cursor display the busy animation randomly. I'm 100% certain that it only happens on Google Chrome. I tried using Edge for a while and it didn't happen. I have the same configuration I had on Windows 7 which worked totally fine back then.
View 1 Repliesdriver_verifier_iomanager_violation BSOD loop on starup, it's even worse now. This time my BSOD came from having chrome open while rendering in Premiere. It would do this every time so I turned off chrome while rendering and I wouldn't get any. I never had any problems with games. I did notice Chrome would stutter with Facebook open but nothing else would cause issues. The last render I did rendered out. I then opened chrome and my computer froze. I tried to boot in and it froze after I loaded in to the desktop. I then set the BIOS to default settings and turned off AMD cool and quiet and AMD turbo. Now after the ASUS splash loading screen pops up, it goes to a black screen. Rebooting a million times and trying to repair did not work. The other monitor doesn't even get a signal. Leaving the computer off with no power for awhile did not work either which always fixed it before. checking the disks everything seemed fine. Safe mode blue screens everytime too within a minute if it even boots up to begin with.
View 9 RepliesI've had a problem where I would put my laptop to sleep, and when it wakes up it doesn't save my session; it's basically boots from scratch so when I log in it has to reload all background applications as well as restoring my open applications. I've posted this here because it may be related to the Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver I recently updated (with which I can't roll back, as I just reset the system).
View 9 Repliesget stuck on the windows Screen and i have tried to do the factory reset and got an error saying it failed. Just wondering if there is anything else i can try. Other things i have tried is unplugging his computer and holding the power down for 30 seconds then plugging it back in i have tried to do a system restore which didn't work.

View 9 RepliesI am having problems installing Windows 10 updates...... again.
This update is dated 29.10.2015 and consists of 2 updates.
KB 3105210 states "waiting for download" and KB 3106932 states "waiting for installation" It has been stuck on this for several hours and my attempts to use the repair tools have failed to resolve the problem.
I rebooted to have updates installed and the percentages completed on both shutdown and boot up.
After the updates completed now when I turn my computer on it just stays on the blue background screen with the dots spinning around in a circle. I'm able to press Crrl Alt Del and get to the screen with ease of access, shutdown, and connect to the Internet, but can't go anywhere else.
Have tried restarting from that prompt as well and it still never gets to the login screen.
