I used the media installation tool to download a Windows 10 ISO file on a USB, but when I checked the guide it said that I'll have to burn it to a DVD. Can't I just use winRAR or Daimon Tools to open it?
If I install it using the ISO on a Windows 7 Ultimate x32 but without SP1 installed, will it ask me for a serial key?

View 9 RepliesI upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8.1. now my media player will not burn my music to cd. Looking for the right driver for my media player.
View 1 RepliesSince upgrading to Windows 10, I have been unable to burn iso files to disk, sometimes I get an error message, saying this could be due to disk utility burn speed. Most of the time just a message, an error occurred. With this same computer, I never had a problem with Windows 8, I also have Linux Mint, dual-booted on this laptop, and it will burn images to disk.Is there some way to tweak the disk burn utility?
View 9 RepliesOK. Movie Maker is not there BUT I can't find anything that could take it's place. The goal is to be able to import videos, edit and burn them. There is nothing in 10 that I can find.
I am guessing this is why my videos from external HD backup came in WITHOUT the video and only audio??
Some mp4 videos play only the audio while showing a black video. These include nearly all videos on Facebook.

I know they got rid of Media Center but I didn't think or realize that was the same app. If that's the case, is there no way to stream media from a Windows 10 PC to an Xbox One?
View 8 RepliesThe new Movies and TV app for Windows 10 is great. I like it. Specially when I saw the Cast button on it.

View 10 RepliesI have a number of videos on my OneDrive (set up as a network share as I don't want to have my entire OneDrive here), and I have added the folder in the app settings, but nothing shows up.

I tried to move subtitles file over the screen - not working
I tried renaming the subtitles as the file I want to play - not working.
I have a series of videos I want to play on my surface book. I opened the folder they were in and hit "play all". Windows movie and TV app opens the first video only. Is this a limitation or is there something wrong with my app? If this is a limitation why in the world is there a play all button for a default app that can't play all?
View 2 RepliesI just installed windows 10 but i can't work out how to play a dvd of home movies.
View 2 RepliesI am unable to purchase any movies, games or apps on the Windows 10 store. When I click buy I enter my password then the screen loads for a few seconds then dims gray. The transaction never gets completed.
This does not happen when the software is free, only paid things.
I just noticed 2 major problems with playing MKV files using the native Movies & TV app in Windows 10 Pro x64 that I'm running.
1. I'm not sure if Windows 10 fully supports MKV files yet but audio from some MKV files couldn't be played with the Movies & TV app. The video plays fine but it's just muted.
2. Enabling subtitles using the built-in feature of the Movies & TV App causes a horrible lag and stutter of the whole MKV video.
I'm running the RTM build on my tablet and the Store and Movies and TV apps crash on launch. I've tried restarts but they're not working.

Since installing Windows 10 I cannot watch movies on Netflix. I can access the Netflix website, however, when I click on the show I was watching I get an error message.
I know it's not the Netflix website because I can watch the movies on my other computer.
