Camera roll, pictures, saved pictures, music, videos - they won't die. Sure would like them to.

Is it possible to remove a default library? For example I don't want the Videos library at all, I'd like to remove it from the system. Deleting the related folder does not make it's icon disappear from the navigation panel.
EDIT: I mean it can be removed from the Libraries group but it stays listed under "This PC".
How can I remove default folders from libraries? EG "Cameraroll".
View 2 RepliesI'm used to working with quite a few libraries in W8.1 and would like file explorer in W10 to directly go to the libraries view if possible rather than the 'quick access' screen.
View 9 RepliesIs there any way to take Windows 10 back as if I had just installed it without losing programs I have installed?
View 9 RepliesEverytime on my brand new computer i have to change the settings for the touch pad and click apply.. When i reboot the computer the settings are back at default settings.. Is there something i am not doing right..
View 1 RepliesI have a home built Desk Top Computer and when I turned it on this morning and when it finished booting I had lost a lot of my icons and what was there all moved to the left side of the screen and the wallpaper went back to the Windows 10 Default. Also the Application short cut screen that comes up when you left click on the Windows icon in the bottom left enlarged and took up half my screen. I tried to adjust it by using the mouse and dragging it but that wouldn't work either. About a month or little more ago I had upgraded from Win 7 Home Prem with no problems at all. It has been working fine until this morning. I had to go back to a restore point to correct it. My wife has a Toshiba Laptop that I upgraded about the same time and hers did the same thing except that she didn't loose her Icons or wallpaper they all just moved to the left of the screen.
View 1 RepliesHow can I reset the Hosts file back to the default in Windows 10?
View 8 RepliesAll of my games look like they are in 3D. I can't fix it and I ran a full scan of my system and it found nothing. BEFORE YOU ASK. I have unplugged it, restarted it, and set my control panel for nvidia back to default. The only thing left is to wipe the OS completely and I don't really want to do that.

View 3 RepliesFirst, my desktop icons keep reverting back to default positions. I place my shortcuts at custom locations in my desktop and when I refresh, they go back to the left. And whenever I restart my computer, they change back to the default large icon size.
I've searched the web on how to fix this and I haven't been able to find a working solution on this problem.
Then, Edge is now having a problem too. Edge starts just fine but the problem shows up when you type in a website you wanna go to. It will just sit there doing nothing. It's responding but it's just not doing anything... If you click the open new tab (The plus button) nothing happens. When you try to close it, nothing happens too....
I can still browse the web using other browsers (chrome for example) so it must be on Edge's side.I've ran virus scans with ESET and Windows Defender and they haven't found a virus so I'm pretty sure my computer is clean.
Its possible to customize one or more folders to a specific file view like "list" or "details" for example? Whenever I close the folder or go back to the previous folder the default system sets back default view which was adopted by the system or the view that was defined by me for all the folders in: Folder Options -> View -> Apply to Folders.
View 7 RepliesI am having a problem whereby my default browser keeps changing from IE11 back to either Edge or blank. Why this might be happening or what program is causing it to change? I thought it maybe the Windows Auto Update that keep changing but am now not so sure of that since the last recorded update is back on 14th January and my default Browser got changed again last evening.
The only other programs that run regularly are Norton Internet Security and Norton Utilities. However, I have been through the settings of both of those programs and cannot detect anything that would indicate that they change the default Browser.
Also, in IE11 under the advanced tab I have ticked the option the "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser" and yet (a) I do not get a notification and (b) the default browser keeps getting changed.
change my font size back to the original default size
View 2 RepliesI have almost got Windows Explorer to what I am used to using. Anyway, what the arrows are pointing to in this picture are called, and how I would go about hiding them? Also, is it possible to hide the Libraries? Using the Navigation Pane properties to check or uncheck Libraries has no effect.
View 5 RepliesI have tried many times to include folders in my libraries with no luck. I've done this tons of times before, so I know I'm doing this correctly.
Here's what I do : Right-click on my D drive "Music" folder, which is the folder I want to add to the "Music" library.
I select "Include in library" and select the "Music" library.
However, after this I do not see the D-drive music folder or it's contents in the Music library.
When I attempt to add the D-drive music folder to the "Music" library again I get a response that says "Music is already included in the library."
Even after restarting I don't see it.
I tried using "WinLibraryTool". I could see the libraries I had added but weren't seeing. I tried changing the libraries from here but I get an error. This app probably isn't 10 compatible.
I have tried this with many different folders and libraries but I have the same problem.
I recently updated my win 8.1 laptop to win 10. Then for the first few times that I used this computer I noticed that my files were hidden in the windows.old folder. So I copied them to their respective libraries and moved on.
Then earlier this morning I turned on my laptop to see some updates happening. After it happened, I saw my computer apps go back, and some of my customization settings. However, my library files are nowhere to be found (documents, images, videos, sounds). How to recover?
I've added folders to my libraries (like music, pictures etc.) but in the explorer they don't appear there, on the left. Instead I (gather that) I see folders with the same names as the libraries (which is quite confusing)...
For example, in the "music" library I have added a big fat folder with mp3s (other than the "iTunes" you see in the pic), which does not appear when I click on music, here. Apparently, this is not the library but some other folder of the same name.
I'd like to see the libraries there, instead of these folders. Is that possible?
I actually do use OneDrive, and I am not trying to remove the app entirely. However, it seems like if I remove the OneDrive folder from my libraries (music, pictures, documents), next boot they show right back up.
This is incredibly annoying as I actually want my folders isolated... Documents is my local documents, and only the stuff I want put in the cloud is in OneDrive.
ADDING Libraries to and REMOVING the This PC folder from the Save As dialog? I know how to remove and add these in File Explorer, but have no luck in finding a solution for the Save As dialog.I found this thread, but when I get to the value to be changed it already is set to that.
When you have an SSD drive with a secondary HDD for files, you can remap libraries to the HDD but saving files from a program is a problem. I guess another option would be to remap the This PC folders to the HDD and not show the libraries.
When I right click an image on a webpage and select "save image as" the explorer window that pops up doesn't have "Libraries" in the navigation pane.
I can manually navigate to one of the folders that is included in my pictures library but "Libraries" is just not in the list like it is in the main file explorer window.
Is there an easy way to transfer the contents of the libraries on my old computer (Windows 7) to my new one (Windows 10)? All the files have been transferred to the new computer and are in the same location as on the old one.
View 2 Repliesthe go back button on edge doesn't seem to have the ability to, when you click and hold on it, see many of the previous pages, so you can go back more than one page per click.
View 5 RepliesI just upgraded to Windows 10 a few days ago and ever since, I've been getting a random popping noise in my speakers. I have tried everything I can think of. I've updated my drivers and my Bios. (From HP site) I've uninstalled and reinstalled the audio (Realtek) driver. This problem never happened in Windows 8. I'm about to switch back to Windows 8.
View 3 RepliesSince I upgraded to Windows 10, many things have been problematic. However, my issue currently is that the Date and Time keep popping up and remain popped up. I am referring to the one which shows and entire month calendar, along with the time, day, etc. It would usually occur upon clicking on the time and date in the lower left hand corner. Whenever I click that to get rid of the expanded version, it shows up again a few seconds later as if I clicked on it.
