Just downloaded windows 10 and it freezes or reboots every time I try and login in for the first time, if u click on anything else on this screen like this isn't me it freezes as well, any work around this to maybe login or revert back to windows 7 without being able to log on?

View 6 RepliesSo recently I installed a new driver supplied from the GeForce Experience app. I believe it was version 361.43 or so. After installation, I turned off my computer. Come back next day. Turn on laptop, computer bugs out after signing in, then crashes... Now, Windows 10 responded with a few errors. First came DPC watchdog violation. Then came something like nvidkrnl or something. Then nvid something something Fatal error. Finally came less than or equal to. All error reports came on separate occasion. The second and third errors are recurring. Now, I tried uninstalling everything related to Nvidia to see if the issue will be gone (as this has happened before. Uninstalling everything fixed it last time ). None of my recovery points are present.

View 1 RepliesYesterday I installed Windows 10 Professional on my Acer Aspire V5-573G laptop. I installed the English (US) version even though I live in the Netherlands. When I corrected the time I have set it to the correct timezone (see screenshot) but it has the wrong time connected to it. As seen on the screenshot the time displayed is 21:49 even though when I took it, it was actually 13:49. Off course I could manually change the time, but I was wondering if maybe this is part of some bigger problem and if there is a better way to fix it.

View 1 RepliesThis has never happened to me before upgrading to windows 10. 2-3 times a day my internet connection simply turns off for no reason. If I unplug the ethernet cable and plug it back again it works fine like normal again. This seems pretty weird and I don't know why is it happening.
PS: I have a laptop and my internet actually works fine on my brother's windows 7 laptop even when it turns off for me, so it's windows 10 problem.
When turning on Windows 10 my pointer will not show up for the password phase of startup. If I do get to the desktop, the pointer is either gone or it is frozen. I shut the computer down and after several startups, it will come back on maybe for a few minutes. I have checked the device manager for the mouse. Looked for updated versions. Ran a troubleshooting for it. Nothing says it is wrong. This has only happened with the upgrade to Windows 10. It used to be every so often, now it is daily.

This Dell OptiPlex has be upgraded from Win7Pro since the first week it was available with no problems. It had been running overnight and when I went to login I typed in my password and hit enter the balls started to rotate (about a 1/4 turn) and stopped (froze). I was forced to hold the power switch till the system shutdown. Everything came back up normal but on every attempt to log in, I get a 1/4 turn of the balls and it freezes again. I can see shares from remote computers but can not log in. I cant figure out how to get it in to safe mode or do anything else.how to get back on my system?
View 6 RepliesI have a Lenovo Yoga 500 i5. When I login to it the screen goes blank, then goes to desktop, and then the mouse freezes. I can not do anything. I can't even access my documents to backup my school things.

So yesterday I installed Windows 10 on my computer via Windows update. (First went here Home page - Windows Insider Program and followed the steps) It installed normally, after it was done I got the login screen.
I typed my password and pressed "next" but my computer just froze and restarted and kept doing it.
I re-installed Windows 7 today, will probably try Windows 10 later, but not currently.
This weird issue started happening few weeks ago, when I turn on my computer in the morning, the time would still show the time before i turned off the computer at night, this happens a lot. Then i go into settings and check "Set Time automatically" sometimes the time is off by 1 hour.. it happens maybe half of the time . It thinks im in the wrong timezone or something.. even thought i have it set pacific.

View 1 RepliesNow that the new upgrades have been installed, I have to log on every time my screen times out. Before the upgrades, if I walked away and came back, moving the mouse or touching a key would bring back the desktop. How can I get back to that status? (By the way, the automatic upgrade hiccuped at 75% and locked the computer so it couldn't be turned on without holding the power key down for over 5 seconds--very inconvenient as I had to go to Geek Squad to get it back since I didn't think of that).

This has also meant a return to getting insistent messages wanting me to install Windows 10 again (and on one occasion, an attempt to install it without my permission). My question is, if I do reinstall Windows 10 and run into the same problems, will I have the option to return to Windows 7 a second time?

I am wondering about performance. All seems to be working. Last December I built a new i7-4790k with 512GB SSD and 16 GB memory. I am using Windows 10 Pro...64 bit and all seems fast. My video card is an EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti FTW. This should be overkill as I do not play games.
So my problem is that on the web, I seem to get a page at a time, instead of a smooth scroll. I use Firefox, but now I see it is NOT a web issue. I see this in multi page Office 2013 documents and even Quicken. Is there some setting that I am missing that will load all it can and provide smooth scrolling instead of a page at a time brief delay?
Win 10 and my drivers are up to date.
Since I upgraded to Windows 10, many things have been problematic. However, my issue currently is that the Date and Time keep popping up and remain popped up. I am referring to the one which shows and entire month calendar, along with the time, day, etc. It would usually occur upon clicking on the time and date in the lower left hand corner. Whenever I click that to get rid of the expanded version, it shows up again a few seconds later as if I clicked on it.
