View 10 RepliesI just tryed to install iTunes on my laptop and during the instalation occurred an error and after it finished, when clicking to open iTunes, this message pops:
I did use Winrar to extract the iTunes .exe file to a folder and there I got the appleaplicationsupport.exe that I needed to install. But when trying to install it, this error pops:
That translates as "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.".
I don't know what to do about it, nothing that I found on Google seems to work either.
I have dell Inspiron 3537 Laptop recently update in windows 10 before it was using windows 8.1 that time my laptop gesture touch pad was working when I scroll in our touch pad with 2 finger it was working but now is not working. My touch pad driver already installed and update.
View 1 RepliesWhen starting up my laptop this morning, my wireless mouse didn't work. I replaced the battery, still didn't work. Tried on another computer, the mouse did work. I went to look in device manager, the mouse wasn't detected by the laptop. I tried to connect my external harddrive, it got power but also wasn't detected by my laptop. Everything worked fine yesterday.

View 1 RepliesThe camera on my Toshiba S50-B laptop worked fine when on the original Windows 8.1 but doesn't work now that I have upgraded to Windows 10. It says "Something went wrong - make sure your camera is connected and not being used by another application". I have tried everything I know of and find no reason. Is there another driver required or ...? I cannot even find the camera.
View 2 RepliesI've been attempting to use applications like Teamspeak or Google Hangouts, but whenever I try to use the built-in microphone on my laptop, it doesn't work. It did work when I was using Windows 8.1. The "update driver" button only says that it's up to date.
EDIT: I have also found that the microphone appears to be turning on and off, stopping any audio when it's on.
after upgrading to the windows 10 OS, I could not get my HDMI port to work. It does not get recognized at all and is very frustrating. I run the OS on my laptop which is a HP Pavilion. I really need it to be working. I love windows 10 but this is a big problem.

I have and iPhone and I have lots of albums downloaded to my Windows 10 running PC. As far as I can tell, the only way to transfer music from my PC to my iPhone is through iTunes. Now I am not going to be upset if there this is the only way and I'll just have to only listen to this music on my computer, but I wanted to ask if downloading iTunes on Windows 10 is a good idea, and if it will mess with my music (mainly MP3s) and my music player (Foobar2000).

View 1 RepliesI recently switched over to Windows 10 and the first issue I had was my graphics driver becoming non compatible, but this was fixed when I flashed my BIOS for my computer to the most recent release.
Everything went smooth for a few weeks, but now I can't connect to the internet due to a common problem with Windows 10.
I want to go back to 8.1, but wanted to make sure my current BIOS wasn't going to crash on me ...
Does the BIOS will still support 8.1 ...
I just installed Windows 10. Now my laptop monitor won't work - only the external monitor. I go to Graphic setting and click on multiple displays, but it states it doesn't see another device only the external monitor. Tried disconnecting the external monitor and rebooting, but the laptop display still doesn't turn on.
View 1 RepliesNew Dell laptop and everything else works. Have deleted and re-downloaded iTunes 2x. Made sure it's enable in Windows firwall. Even turned off firewall. Deleted McAffee totally. No proxy server is checked. I've googled all day and it seems others are having this problem but I can't find a solution. I'm convinced it's some setting somewhere but I've tried/googled everything. The iTunes diagnostic says iTunes is NOT enabled in firewall, but it is. It will say it's not enabled even if I turn off the firewall off.

I am trying to install iTunes 12.2.1 on Windows 10 Pro. During installation I get two errors, I believe they are connected. I am running this as Administrator from a User account. I have also tried running it with Windows 7 compatibility checked, same result.
This is the first error:
The installation continues for a little bit, then it throws this error:
At this point the installation fails.
My brother is in an identical situation; both of us have identical machines, upgraded from Windows 7 (where iTunes worked) to Windows 10, did a system refresh, and encountered this problem. Installing either version 11 or 10.7 do not throw either of these errors, however upon launch, it said it was not installed properly and would need to be reinstalled.
Before I do a clean install of Windows 10, I would like to know how to back up any music which isn't covered by my iTunes Match subscription. I know that I shall be able to bring in most of my music and I have backed up the ring tones which I have created to a thumb drive. I am really concerned about the CDs I have added to iTunes but have since given away.
View 4 RepliesWhen I first installed windows 10 pro. I used Microsoft's create install media tool and saved to USB. Now as we are regularly getting cumulative updates from Microsoft does the install media get updated as well?
I mean if I re create the install media Windows 10 would it have all the cumulative updates in it?
Just updated to the latest build. Windows 10 build 10547. It makes it to the lock screen, and I can slide the picture up, but it won't let me put my PIN in. I can't click any icons in the bottom right corner, and when I do click, the picture is just above my cursor like I am sliding it up again.

View 1 RepliesThis error message appears: Cannot create the directory 'C:Program FilesiTunes'. A file with this name already exists. Please rename or remove the file and click retry, or click Cancel to exit.
I can't find this directory using File Explorer. I have uninstalled all Apple components and done an iTunes re-install but the same message appears.
A few days ago I updated my HP Envy laptop from Windows 8 to Windows 10. I used to be able to close the lid and the computer would enter sleep mode, and come out of it when I opened the lid. After updating, it now goes into hibernation mode when I close the lid. In the Sleep and Power Settings, the only options available for me to choose for when I close the laptop lid are "Do Nothing," "Hibernate," and "Shut Down."
Following recommendations for similar issues, I updated the driver for my display adapter. Unfortunately, this hasn't changed anything. I've noticed, however, that in the Device Manager, the symbol next to the Intel(R) HD Graphics Family has a little exclamation point in a yellow triangle. Under the display adapter Device status it reads "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"
In addition to finding no mention of sleep mode anywhere on my computer, I'm now unable to change the screen brightness by any means. I read somewhere that I can allow sleep mode by changing something related to the BIOS? This sounds complicated.
