View 1 RepliesI use Win10 and the email client that came with it (Win mail). Recently I have been inundated with junk/spam emails, but cannot find how to mark them as junk, or stop them coming in win mail.
Most of the junk mail that comes has a "unsubscribe link" but that did not work and I don't want to try again in case I get something nasty on my PC, any way to mark as junk, or even better is there a way to stop it ever getting into my inbox?
I access my Outlook.com email through the Windows 10 Mail app - this is the same Microsoft Account that I sign into my laptop with.
When I Right-Click on the Junk Folder and click on "Empty Folder", as I would so in Outlook or on Outlook.com, I am presented with the below error:
I then have to select each message individually and then hit the Delete key to delete the messages in there.
Is there any way to delete all mail, delete all junk (folder) , empty trash with one click as in ie11?

View 8 RepliesI have a number of shortcuts on my desktop that when double-clicked respond with not finding the file using the path displayed. I have even gone to the file that the desktop points to and double-clicked it - with the same result. This has only started with W10 upgrade. However, there are other shortcuts that still work.
View 4 RepliesI have reinstalled Windows 10 so do not have any old Windows 8 residue.
I need these files to create a new profile with NTLite for a reduced footprint on any reinstallation.
Google search does not really work?
My lovely new Asus Zenbook UX305 came with Windows 10 preloaded. I have successfully set up two email accounts through Mail for W10 and they're working fine , but there doesn't seem to be a junk folder. I'm expecting an email which has been resent three times and has probably been sent to junk box...but where is the junk folder ?
View 8 RepliesSo, instead of using my browser for my emails I set them up in Windows Mail, but although it will show all the folders it won't show anything in my inboxes. I've tried syncing but to no avail.
View 1 RepliesI refuse to believe that Microsoft would have omitted this basic function. How does one Import from Windows Live Mail into the Windows 10 Mail App?

MS when they can't even make an email client?
I have backup copies of my windows mail files on a portable hdd (JRS, Text docs, XML and PAT files) These were created on my old Vista PC. I am now using a new PC with Windows 10 and would like to import them. I have no way of exporting them to create a CSV file. How do I go about this?
View 4 RepliesWhen I first loaded windows 10 everything worked great now I can't get my email through the mail app. I try to sync it and after awhile I get the message error code 0x8007274D.

View 4 RepliesI bought a new PC with W10. How to import email from Windows Live Mail in W10 Mail?
View 3 RepliesI am unable to sync the native email app. When I open it, it shows "Not synced yet". When I press the Refresh button, I get "Still working on it..." indefinitely. It just never finishes and never shows content. My work email does sync but not my Hotmail one (and I am logged into my computer using a local account). It has been like this since day one, four days ago.
View 24 RepliesI have emails from about 1 month old that I created as reminders (because this is a convenient method for me) that I have no problem seeing in outlook.com but they're invisible in the win 10 app.

View 1 RepliesAny way in windows 10 mail app for selecting all mails?
View 4 RepliesI'm currently trying to set the mail app of W10 to read my Gmail mailbox but after configure, the app doesn't find any elements to show... How to configure a Gmail account into the mail app of W10 successfully ? Is there something special to do ?
And the second W10 app that doesn't work for me is the calendar one. I can't click on the "New event" button and the only thing i can do is navigate through the weeks/months.
How do you create a new mail folder
View 1 RepliesI had established some folders that I no longer need or want. I haven't been able to find a way to completely delete them. Surely Microsoft would include some way to do this, as all of the other mail apps do.
View 1 RepliesI have 5 email addresses. When I click on Accounts in the Mail Tile I have to click on each account to find unread mail. Isn't there a way to show all email accounts in one pane with unread mail noted or do you simply have to work your way through all five "Accounts".
View 4 RepliesI have 2 accounts set up in Mail for Windows 10. One is Yahoo, the other Comcast. When I first updated, the mail app worked fine. It would send and receive messages to and from both accounts. After a couple of days, the app stopped receiving messages. It will send, but not receive, from either account. I checked all the settings, tried to search the web for similar issue. ?
View 11 RepliesI was printing emails ok from the windows 10 mail app on Sunday but when I tried today, the print panel was different ( black and different layout, rather than normel screen) and emails would not print. On clicking print box there was no indication of anything happening and no message. I am able to print from documents on my pc and see the print panel I expect. If I go into, say gmail via the web I can print ok and again see the print panel I expect?
View 5 RepliesFriends, I am running W10.1511.10586.11 and typically use the Outlook 2013 desktop application (part of the MS Office 2013 suite) to view, send, and file email for my primary Yahoo! IMAP account. This application works fairly well, and I really have no complaints. However, I got a little bored last night and decided to explore the Windows Mail/People/Calendar applications, something which I was unfamiliar with until last night. So I set up Mail to bring in a few of my other email accounts (Yahoo!, Outlook.com, Gmail) that I usually just log into those services' online web apps to use, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked its clean, simple design. So I figured I'd spend a day using this Mail app rather than the standard Outlook 2013 desktop program.
One of the things I ran into was that I cannot open URLs in any emails. Not even very common ones, such as those to twitter or Facebook. None. The message reads "Unable to open...[insert link here]". I've changed everything I can think of that may cause this behavior (changed the default email to Mail, changed default browser from Firefox to Edge, turned off my anti-virus/firewall and Malwarebytes monitoring). I'm not sure if this is just a "feature" of Mail that needs to be fixed by MS, or some setting on my machine that is causing this.
I can continue to use Outlook and online services, but the convenience of Mail (which seems to do an IMAP sync much faster than Outlook) could eventually draw me in if it eventually matures enough. However, that won't ever happen if I'm not able to traverse hyperlinks.
