So I installed Broken Age then when I open it, it says that the required openGL features aren't available. Well I installed the latest update on the driver but still no luck. So I also cannot find intel graphics control panel (cannot find it on right clicking the desktop).
Windows 10 64bit
Intel Family Chipset (sucks, I know)
When I changed to Windows 10, my Cubis game will not play. Also some videos on facebook and others.I went back to the old Windows and they play. I just upgraded to Windows 10 again, and the same is happening. How can I get the game and videos to play?
With the latest Windows 10 update I can't play any game in full screen. As soon as I open the game my screen goes black and it tabs out to the desktop. Putting it in 1920x1080 (monitor size) won't work, because my pc isn't good enough to handle it.
I run dual monitors and When I was rocking windows 8.1 I could game and watch movies at the same time with with no problems.
Now I have upgraded to 10, every time I try and watch something the picture lags but the not the sound when I'm on a game. But if I select the tab running the film it runs fine even with the game running in the background. But as soon a select the game it go's back to being crap and stutters/lags.
This happens while using VLC, windows media player and streaming online with things like YouTube, Netflix and everything you could think of for streaming films.
I've done many scans to check for a virus and nothing came up.
Probably not the cause but the game I play is called warframe.
I guess its best to start with the fact i have a triple monitor set up all running off a nvidia 970 video card. 2 24 inch monites left/right and a 32 in monitor in the center. When ever i try to play battlefield 1942, the older sim city, red alert 2/yuri's revenge etc since upgrading to windows 10. the game seems like its playing in fullscreen. But as soon as i go to the left or right edge of the screen my curser comes out of game, and i select what ever the mouse is over dropping me from game. i just played starwars battle front beta for the last 3 hours so i know its not an issue with game launched from origin, and probably related to win10 and older games.
I plan on buying a new computer and want to transfer my Windows 10 App Game Statistics for Hearts and Chess to my new computer. Where does Windows 10 store these game statistics so I can save the folder.
My wife's favorite game "murder she wrote 2 will not run after last windows update (KB3132372). Upon clicking the icon I get "run time error (2147417848 (80010108) Automation error The object invoked has disconnected from its client" I have tried compatibility troublesooter to no avail. I have uninstalled the program, restarted the computer and reinstalled the program.
I've had BSOD's before and here's that thread in case it may prove useful: "Old BSOD's thread" Unfortunately I'm having issues again now.
Here's the dm log collector file below:
TCC-PC-Sat_01_30_2016_191706_67.zip
It contains all BSOD's from the last 4 days...
My rambles, if at all useful: With some of the errors I've gotten from my BSOD's and my game, I could see the issue possibly having to do with bad memory, but it is just a theory. There's also a very good chance that my integrated Intel graphics or my discrete Nvidia graphics could be causing the issues, cause they did cause BSOD's in the past. Though, as axe0 suggested in my old thread, I disabled my Nvidia graphics so there would be no conflict between the two. This did work for a little while, but as said earlier, I'm now having issues again, even with Nvidia disabled.
Just recently I tried to take a screenshot in a game (Fallout 4) and it just came out black no picture at all. I never had any problem before and I was wondering if it could be anything to do with Windows 10 + Nvidia? I haven't taken any screenshots with windows 10, win 8.1 worked fine.
I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 via USB (using the download from the microsoft website onto USB and upgraded all my computers). All went well and smoothly, but unfortunately, when I went to start up Dota 2, my screens went black (as normal) but didnt load up the game. It seemed like it just crashes before it even loads anything. I thought that it was a bit weird, so i tried launching Garry's Mod, that did the same thing. I tried Warframe, as that opens a window before you enter the game, but that worked.
Not sure whats going on, heres my PC specs.
CPU - Intel i5 4570 GPU - GTX 780 Gigabyte 3 1080p monitors Motherboard - Z87 Gigabyte (z87m-D3HP to be exact)
I recently upgraded to windows 10, and I wanted to stream my xbox one to my windows 10 PC, I plugged in my controller, installed the drivers and everything, but when I go find the option to connect my xbox, it looks like this, there is no option on the side to connect it, URL...
I am using Windows 10. I was playing Need For Speed Most Wanted on my PC, when accidentally I pressed the 'Windows' key of the keyboard. The game was minimized, and I was out of the game background. A bit worried about any performance issues, so uninstalled the game. Would it cause any performance problems to my PC? Though, I ran an sfc scan using command prompt and also scanned my PC with Windows Defender. It seemed to have that my PC is running fine, as there were no issue reports after the scans.
When I press the Windows key and the G key together to bring up the Game DVR menu, I cannot record. Pressing it says that I do not meet the system requirements to record, which is bull because I do, according to Microsoft's listed system requirements.
I have two hidden object games that has a screen that is to large and some of the objects are out of site on the sides. I tried setting the resolution smaller, but that just made the screen smaller and objects are still hidden. When I remove the check mark from full screen, the screen is to small to find the hidden objects. The game worked fine on my 19" monitor, but not this larger one.
Using W10 and I am really impressed with it so far. The issue I am having is that I have tried using my normal recording software which is Xsplit but it wont record, neither will Fraps,
can i enable any kind of alert (like fraps has red dot in a corner... or whatever) when i am recording game? I am recording a lot, and i sometimes forget if i am recording right now, i dont know if my next win+alt+r will start or stop recording, dont know if i pushed the right keybind, or not...
Every time I open a game that I run in borderless windowed or windowed mode, I get this stupid "Game Bar" garbage.
I did a little research, and it seems you can stop it from auto-opening in windowed games by opening the Xbox "app" and disabling it from there. However, whenever I open the Xbox "app", I'm asked to log in with a Microsoft Account. I do not want to do this because I don't have a MS Account, nor do I want one. And it seems that even if you log in with a Microsoft Account, you're forced to create an Xbox Gamertag before you can access the settings.
How do I stop this garbage "Game Bar" without a Xbox/Microsoft Account?
I just upgraded from 8.1, to windows 10 today.Everything seems fine at the moment, except when I open the store, and try to download an app, I go to the page and it gives me this constant 'loading sign'. It doesn't seem to end, and I don't see any option to download my app/game.
I am attemting to put some order in the many tiles on my start menu. It's almost like an old 'PONG' game. I move a tile to an area and it moves away on it's own. If I attempt to group some tiles and name them, the name bar stretches horizontally accross the screen and doesn't permit the a group to be placed to the right.
I was asked to open a new thread so thats what I did. In my old thread I was getting BSOD"s every few days, the problem seemed to dissapear 2 months ago, but this month my computer is acting up all again.
