Stuck On A Black Screen With Curser And Circle

I am working on the Co-owner of my place of employment. Today when doing some maintenance on her Lenovo x1 carbon it upgraded to the Win 10 pro from home on it's own, once this completed and restarted it will boot up to where I can access the bios or recovery, but the normal boot just displays a black screen with the curser and circle blinking. Unfortunately the bitlocker has been enabled and she does't have the recovery key so booting to safemode or even resetting isn't an option. I can access the command line through recovery but have no access to the c: since it is locked. I have run FRST64 and comeback with the common things like C:windowssystem32winlog.exe is missing..

I just got free update and after completing the upgrade display icons and fonts were faded then i downloaded the nvidia driver for windows 10 64bit. Then i installed it and reboot the pc and now i ended up with black screen. After long hours wait it got me the main screen desktop itself. Then i shut it down and start it again in the morning then black screen came up again without cursor. After almost 3/4 hours wait screen got windows 10 logo only on screen and i pressed Alt+Ctrl+Del and it boots i got boot screen and then black screen again. How to get my pc on with windows 10 or if i get it on i roll back.

I started my computer and came back to find a BSOD. It displayed an error code and mentioned something about a driver error. I waited until the loading reached 100%, but it didn't restart on its own so i shut the computer down manually by holding the power button on my case. Then it booted up, but it got stuck on the spinning circle of dots. I have been able to press CTRL+ALT+DEL while at the spinning circle which bring me to the login screen but without the box to enter my pin, however, I am able to access the network, ease of access and power options. I have tried restarting, shutting down, and holding shift while restarting in an effort to boot with safe mode but none have gotten me farther than the spinning circle. I installed Windows 10 on my HP 15044NR laptop (2013) model that came originally with Windows 8.1. I get the image at the bottom of the screen whenever it has to be restarted. I have a 32 bit PC. I can only use it if I reinstall Windows 10.

i did a full reset last night with the clean driver option, it was staying ar 99 percent for awhile last night so i went to sleep. this morning i woke up to it just stuck at being a black screen.i tried rebooting but it just goes back to a black screen after showing the blue windows icon. what should i do

Today when I started my computer I logged in and after than I get a black screen with my cursor and desk bar flickering and can't do anything. When I press ctrl all delete and go to task manager it says nothing is running. I can't click anywhere or do anything except start up the task manager..

I tried upgrading my windows 7, but failed 5 times.
step 1 on copying files are 100%
step 2 installing features n updates are 100%
step 3 FAILED, it stuck on black screen and freeze, nothing i can do besides force restart and its restored to my windows 7 back.
It's always stuck at 75% step 2 and when go to step 3 is freeze ( 5 times in row, I'm thinking give up or buy new laptop with windows 10)... I'm currently downloading ISO file to blank DVD hopefully it's works....

I tried updating from 8.1 to 10 from the iso and after a few reboots it just hangs at a black screen, what can i do now? Should i just reboot?

So i don't know what happened to my computer last night (Maybe it did an automatic update) I did a normal shutdown, and in the morning after I couldn't boot my Windows 10. It won't go pass the black screen with the blinking dash. I don't want to do a fresh install. I got all my important files in this computer.

So, after having this problem for a few months I decided it was time i asked. Whenever I restart my pc for any reason, it just gets stuck on the black screen right before power off. Everything else still works fine, even when I update I just wait a few minutes then hard reset. But this is getting annoying especially when I have the updates that need multiple restarts because I have to sit there and watch it.

So I recently upgraded to windows 10, the Installion performed successfully, I selected my account and chose the express settings, after this I was presented a green screen with a series of dots spinning, I let this run for well over two hours in which nothing had changed, after waiting I did a hard shutdown.
When loading up it gave me a blue screen where I had some options to choose my os, where I selected windows 10, the screen then went black with the windows logo, then the green screen returned, I then went to bed and upon waking up it was still stuck on that green screen.
I tried clicking, escape, when pressing Ctrl alt del I was presented a navy blue screen with a few options, network status, ease of access and shutdown options. I've done multiple restarts, on the blue screen where you select os i have tried safe mode and now I am attempting to restore previous build.

i uploaded windows 10 and it was doing fine for a day or two, then it started updates, stuck at 75% with the update circle continually turning. Only thing it will let me do is restart with ctrl alt del command. Other than that it's just a screen with the update circle.

I recently started getting a black screen when trying to turn on my laptop, a Sony Vaio running Windows 10. I am unable to download the DM log collector tool since I cannot use my computer at all. It stays on the black screen even if I let it sit for hours. It's possible that I backed up a Windows 10 file when originally upgrading from WIN7 but I'm not sure and if so, it would be on an external hard drive.

System: i7 950 X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0 16gb Ram GTX760. Pretty sure it's a Samsung 250gb SSD.
So I upgraded W7 to W10 via iso. Install made it all the way.
On reboot it's now suck on the black background, windows logo and spinning dots.

I upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 and then I realized that all my files stayed which I didn't want all my files so I did a factory reset on my windows 10 upgraded PC and it has been stuck at 61% for about 8-9 hours. The circle loading is still moving but the percentage is stuck at 61. I am worried to turn off my PC in case of it being ruined.

I currently have Win10 32bit. I made a bootable USB and DVD to upgrade to the 64bit version, both yield the same results. Each time I try to perform a clean install, it just hangs at the blue windows logo, no spinning circle just the logo. I let it sit for about 4 hours and nothing changes. I've tried many methods but none seem to work.

I put window 10 on my dell XPS-420 I sign in it goes to my home page and the screen keep on flashing i can not do anything the arrow that the mouse move there's a blue circle that keeps on going and when it stop the screen stop flashing too it last 10sec then it start to flashing again with the blue circle keep turning like it up date something well it 2 days and the same thing the pc on for 2 days too ...

I know there is others who have this issue of the flashing blue working circle next to the mouse pointer on the screen. I have read through he forums and tried what I could find but so far no luck getting rid of it.
I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 - on my Asus sonicmaster laptop and now the flashing blue circle constantly shows up in and on and off state. Like it is trying to load or check something. How to get rid of this?

Installed win10 and after an hour (?), restarted and got the log on screen. After logging in, windows did some customization and displayed the screen similar to win7 After log on. The screen is frozen, with a blue animated circle (similar to hour glass function), but doing nothing. Logged off using ctrl+alt+del, logged in, same result. Restarted, same result. What do I have to do to make it work or just go back to win7

I have a freshly upgraded laptop (8.1 > 10) which worked fine until now. When I try to shut down the PC, it just hangs at the blue shutting down screen and the circle keeps on spinning.
I have to hard power off the laptop by holding down the off button, but that isn't going to do the laptop any good.
What can I do to fix this? Is there anywhere that will tell me what happens when shutting down?

Yesterday, after getting infected with malware, I decided to freshly reinstall windows 10 on my computer. However, after reinstalling it, I noticed that my bootup was very slow. During the windows logo part of the bootup, the screen flashes once, and the loading circle of dots becomes slow and low quality. Afterwards, the screen turns black for ~40 seconds, and then I get to the login screen.. And sometimes, I get that issue after logging in.

I upgraded from windows ultimate to windows 10. my computer boots through everything and finally brings up my old windows 7 desktop screen and then everything goes black, but mouse shows up on black screen. Is this a driver problem with windows 10? However, before the black screen appears the new start button and screen appears as the windows 10
